Základné jazdiarenské cviky
Jazdiarenské
cviky pomáhajú jednak naučiť jazdca správne viesť a spoľahlivo ovládať
koňa, a na druhej strane sa nimi u koňa sa nimi cvičí ohybnosť,
obratnosť, pozornosť a poslušnosť. Nácvik je najvhodnejšie začínať na
drezúrnom obdĺžniku, pretože má steny na určitých miestach označené
písmenami. Tieto jazdcovi uľahčujú orientáciu v priestore.
Drezúrny obdĺžnik má mať rozmery 20 x 40 m alebo (v lepšom prípade)
20x60m. Vchod naň býva obyčajne na krátkej stene, a to na písmene A.
Stredová línia je tiež daná písmenami (D, L, X, I, G - v danom poradí
smerom od A do C), ale tie sa na obdĺžniku nevyznačujú. Bod X je
vlastne absolútny stred jazdiarne – leží na priesečníku spojníc stredov
stien a zároveň aj priesečníku diagonál.
Samozrejme, začíname s najjednoduchšími cvikmi, nenáročnými na
ohýbanie, ktoré možno využiť na zmenu smeru. Môžu sa cvičiť v kroku,
kluse i cvale. Sú to:
Diagonálou zmeniť smer
Tento cvik slúži na zmenu smeru a prevádza sa na diagonále FXH (alebo v
smere HXF), a na diagonále a MXK (alebo v smere KXM). Pre diagonálu FXH
cvik vyzerá nasledovne: v bode F vyjde jazdec smerom k bodu X (ak sa
jazdí v ľahkom kluse, jazdec presadne na opačnú nohu), presunie bičík
do "novej" vnútornej ruky prejde ho a pokračujete k bodu H. Tu sa
napojí na protiľahlú dlhú stenu a po stene pokračuje v jazde ďalej.
Zo stredu
Podstata cviku spočíva v schopnosti jazdca viesť koňa po rovnej línii
bez opory steny.Začiatok i koniec cviku je v stredoch krátkych stien,
tj. cvik sa uskutočňuje na línii bodov AXC (alebo v smere CXA). 
Na pol jazdiarne
Je podobný cviku zo stredu, ale začína a končí v stredoch dlhých stien,
t.j. jazdí sa línia BXE (alebo v smere EXB).
